Pipe End Caps or dust caps are used to seal off the end of a pipe to prevent dust or moisture from entering the pipe.
 
Relatively inexpensive, these dust end caps can save a lot of time and money for installation crews, eliminating the need to clean out the interior of the pipe before welding. These pipe caps are made from polyethylene, and simply slide onto the end of the pipe. Pipe dust caps are available to suit all standard poly pipe sizes. Each cap can only be used for a standard size of pipe – they do not stretch. End caps can be required for some environmentally sensitive mining projects, as the pipe cap prevents feral cats or other animals from hiding inside the pipe.
