ACU-TECH™ Rural Compression End Cap
A compression end cap fitting is used to cap off a length of metric HDPE pipe. With a size range from 20 mm to 110 mm, compression end plug fittings match common pipe sizes, and are usually SDR 11.
Compression end caps are suitable for water and other similar fluids, with pressures up to 16 bar, however this varies with the ambient temperature and temperature of the pipe contents. End cap compression fittings are made from PE100 material with precisely moulded parts, and a rubber sealing ring for larger sizes. Compression end caps are suitable for outdoor use, being resistant to etching by numerous chemical substances, and to UV rays.
Compatible with PELD, PEHD, PE40, PE80 and PE100 pipes, compression end cap fittings may also be known as compression end plugs, compression plug fittings or poly pipe end cap plugs. Sizes up to 200mm are available in some compression fittings, so contact us if you have a specific size that isn’t listed below!

Rural compression fittings go on the pipe and seal watertight instantly. It isn’t magic, just the result of some clever engineering.
Instant Sealing
Our rural compression fittings go on the pipe and seal watertight instantly. Our captive O-ring creates a seal before you even tighten the nut. And you don’t need any special tools to install our fittings. Just do the nuts up firmly by hand and the job is done.
Flexible
Our rural fittings can be converted to connect to metric poly (blue line), PVC, steel, and copper pipes.
Long Body
The long body on our fittings ensures the seal will not be affected by bending loads or ground movement.
Pull-out Resistant
All our fittings exceed the pull-out requirements of Australian Standards making them ideal for submersible bore jobs.
Our rural compression fittings seal watertight as soon as they go on the pipe.
All compression fittings seal using O-rings. Ours are a little different and our compression fittings have captive O-rings. There is a groove machined into the fitting which holds the O-rings in place so they can’t be lost, damaged or contaminated.
This also keeps the seal in the optimum position so as soon as our rural poly pipe joiners go on the pipe, the connection is watertight.
With our compression fittings, you only tighten the nut to prevent pipe blow-outs!
